Maintaining a Plumbing Apprenticeship License

Your apprenticeship license is good for two years if issued in an even year. If issued in an odd year,
it is only good for one year. Your license will always expire in an even year on the 1st of October. For example, if it was issued in 2020 or 2021, they both expire 10/01/2022.
When it is time to renew, the state will email you an apprenticeship license renewal form. Renewal notices are sent approximately ninety (90) days prior to the expiration date. License holders with valid email addresses on file will be emailed the renewal notice. Those who do not have valid email addresses on file will be mailed the renewal notice; this notice is mailed to the address of record with the Commission.
Online renewal is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for most license renewals. Online renewal takes only minutes, and your renewal will be processed and available for verification the next business day.

To renew your license by paper, print and mail the completed form with the required renewal fee to the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. The address is on the form and checks should be made out to Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
If you don’t renew by the deadline, the fee is $60 instead of $10.
($10 renewal fee + $50 late fee for a total of $60)
You can find the printable renewal form on the "Documents" tab above.
